Air Fuel Synthesis - update
16/Apr/2010

The development of air fuel synthesis fuel continues – a business plan and development program has now been agreed and funding discussions are underway with several public and private sector organisations. There is collaboration with UK university researchers with a view to developing new intellectual property and research programs – the most exciting research focuses on capturing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and producing a concentrated gas stream.

AFS is a method of making fuels, ranging from petrol to diesel and Jet-A, using renewable energy with the raw materials of water, and carbon dioxide from air. We believe AFS fuels offer a better solution to any other alternative fuel source.

The E-Skin – Exterior Superinsulation
12/Mar/2010

An insulation system known as the ‘e-skin’ has been applied to the outside of the house at West Beacon Farm. The e-skin is made from strawbales and other natural materials and superinsulates the outside of the house whilst leaving the inside of the house untouched.

For more details and photographs of the project visit the resources section of our web site.
